For our site in Jesewitz, we are looking for a Buyer (M/F/d) to join our team as soon as possible.

Are you passionate about procurement and interested in building and developing strategic purchasing? Then we are looking for you to strengthen our purchasing team at our manufacturing site.

In this role, you will play a vital role in our organization, collaborating on supplier selection and defining our purchasing processes.

Our dynamic and accomplished team of 7 Buyers plays a pivotal role in our company. Together, we collaborate to shape strategic procurement processes, foster strong supplier relationships, and drive cost-effective solutions.

As part of our dedicated team, you'll have the opportunity to contribute your expertise, work alongside talented professionals, and make a significant impact on the success of our organization.

What You Will Do

Manage procurement activities and ensure timely delivery of materials at our local production center.
Develop and maintain efficient supplier management practices, evaluating supplier performance.
Negotiate competitive prices and establish framework agreements with national and international suppliers.
Conduct supplier audits and visits to build strong partnerships.
Represent our company in discussions and projects related to processes, contracts, and procurement control.
Handle complaint and return processes to ensure customer satisfaction.
Assist in implementing new processes and continuously improving existing ones.
Collaborate on supplier selection and monitor necessary approvals.
Implement measures to ensure and enhance supplier delivery reliability.
Collaborate on defining inventory levels, considering procurement lead times.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Proven experience in strategic and/or technical purchasing
Extensive knowledge of supplier and quality management
Proficiency in import handling and international trade
Understanding of contract law
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Proactive mindset and openness to growth
Excellent negotiation skills
Familiarity with ERP systems
Fluent in German and English
