(Junior/Senior) Short Term Renewables Trader (f/d/m):

at our location in Bremen.**
We are looking for reinforcement of our 24/7 Short Term Team.

Do you want to start your professional career in energy trading and develop in the energy business or are you already a real expert? We look forward to meeting you

If you have no experience yet, we will be happy to discuss a junior role with us and kickstart your development in the energy business and provide you with an experienced mentor.

Your new position:

You are responsible for (renewables) energy trading in the intraday and spot market in various European countries
Your focus is on steering and monitoring algorithmic trading strategies
You take over the optimization and marketing of power plants and flexibilities on electricity and gas exchanges
You are responsible for EWE's electricity schedules and gas nominations
You are part of a 24/7 shift team that also works on weekends and at night

Your profil:

You have a very good degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, Economics, Computer Science, (Financial) Mathematics, Physics, Data Science or a comparable course of study
Experience in the energy business, especially in renewables trading, is desirable
Ability to work independently and also enjoy working in a 24/7 shift team
You are inquisitive and can quickly think your way into complex questions
You have a good command of the English language, both spoken and written
If German is not your first language, you should be willing to learn German
