Role:
Field Service Technician - Laptops/Desktop Support


Location:
Frankfurt, Germany


Core skillset:


  • Good technical understanding and practical skills for standard PC hardware
  • Basic project management knowledge to assist project team
  • English and German speaking
  • Optional: understanding and knowledge of AV Conference Systems

Activities:


  • Install standard build on new laptops/desktops ordered for the new building
  • Assist in planning and organizing of physical user moves, direct communication with other business departments
  • Update and clean up hardware inventory systems
  • Hardware moves and physical installation of new hardware, patch cabling if required
  • Researches, resolves and responds to complex questions received via telephone calls or escalations, and provides support on services in accordance with current standards. Follows up with user to ensure problem is resolved satisfactorily.
  • Acquires and maintains knowledge of relevant product offerings, current support policies, and methods of support delivery, in order to provide technically accurate solutions to users.
  • Installs new or upgraded hardware/software as assigned via service requests. Coordinates installation with the user and follows up to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Must be able to manually lift up to 15kg when moving and repositioning personal computers and ancillary equipment
  • Use of IT ticketing systems to respond to end user issues

Job Types:
Full-time, Contract

Contract length: 12 months


Salary: 300.00€ € per day


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Eschborn: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
