EW Biotech GmbH operates a multi-purpose biotech plant in Leuna, Germany as a subsidiary of EW Nutrition GmbH.

In addition to scale-up and contract manufacturing, the facility enables expanded research and development activities in the field of bio-based chemicals and feed and food additives.

EW Biotech and its staff experienced in biotechnology and fermentation are thus creating the conditions to enable customers and partners to make the leap from laboratory to industrial scale.

Your tasks

Maintaining the functionality of the equipment
The documentation of the plants
Creation, updating and maintenance of the plant documentation
The adaptation / modification / improvement of the plants
The procedural support of the plants
The compliance with the legal requirements in connection with the design and function of plants and plant components
Coordination of the efficient (technically and economically) and responsible deployment of employees and operating resources
Identification of personnel requirements, personnel development potentials
Assumption of the technical feasibility analysis of new projects
Participation in the conceptual design of new plants

Your strengths

Completed engineering studies with specialization in process engineering. Bioprocess engineering, food technology or pharmaceutical technology studies desirable
Several years of professional experience in the field of plant engineering, in the management of production plants or in maintenance and servicing
Strong safety and environmental awareness
Good communication, selfmanagement, problemsolving and teamwork skills
Fast comprehension, flexibility and readiness for action
Knowledge of MS Office (e.g. Excel, Visio and MS Project) or the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new programs
Confident communication in German and English
