YOUR TEAM:

You will be working in the area "Diagnosis & OTA".

We are adding diagnostic value and over-the-air technologies to the CARIAD core products and ensure their compliance along the digital lifecycle.

Our vision is to provide one generic, innovative, performant, robust,
scalable, standardized and compliant diagnosis and over-the-air framework to enable programming, configuration and analysis of ECUs and functions.

With a total workforce of round about 200 FTE we incorporate the governance for the the technologies and functions needed.

Together with the E/E architect ́s we ensure an end to end development of the future architecture for the automotive industry.


WHAT YOU WILL DO:


  • Head of the department, responsible for diagnostic data, methodology and the whole toolchain
  • Build up an innovative and agile toolchain for the future needs of diagnosis
  • Develop and optimize tools that will be used within the Volkswagen Group
from the development to the production- Focus on generic solutions to reduce technical complexity within the group platform

  • Internal alignment and achievement of technologies, milestones, quality and budget targets
  • Identify process gaps and implement practical solutions to increase long term quality
  • Create an innovative culture within the organization to continuously improve its impact and efficiency.

WHO YOU ARE:


  • Agile management experience in developing automotive products
  • Proven leadership experience and ability to lead people and software development teams to high performance; strong commitment to teamwork
  • Significant experience in the E/E environment of the automotive industry
  • Knowledge of vehicle architecture, networks, diagnosis and vehicle functions
  • Advanced experience of new test strategies in a soft
- and hardware environment

  • Pushing technology with new ideas towards outstanding solutions
  • High level of communication skills in English and German
