Evaluation Advisor:
in Bonn**:

The position is to be filled as soon as possible, with an unlimited contract duration. Employment location will be Bonn, Germany.
As Evaluation Advisor, you will play a key role in shaping WHH's evaluation system in order to continuously improve the quality of our evaluation work. You will make an important contribution to evidencebased decision making in our international programs and projects and to WHH's mission: Zero Hunger in 2030.
As an excellent communicator, you will ensure the exchange about methods and results across organizational units and represent WHH in international expert fora and networks

Your responsibilities:

Contribute to the development of strategic goals and objectives of MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning) systems, as well as MEAL standards
Development as well as implementation planning and monitoring of MEAL systems in close coordination with the management level, as well as capacity development and other quality improvement measures in exchange with MEAL experts in the field
Identification and further development of methods and approaches in the MEAL field of Welthungerhilfe, taking into account Welthungerhilfe goals, donor requirements, international technical discussions, as well as the respective local conditions
Internal consulting on MEALrelated issues and on topics such as strategic evaluations, use of data for steering, country strategy development, accountability
Advising colleagues in the field on all MEALrelated issues
Advising on the planning and development of country strategies, projects and programs, and the preparation of high quality proposals
Coceptualization and coordination (content and process) of strategic initiatives and issues in the MEAL field

Your profile:

At least five years of professional experience in humanitarian aid or development cooperation, including at least one part in nonEuropean countries
At least five years of experience in evaluating development cooperation projects and programs; including conceptualization, design, management, and implementation
Demonstrated experience advising technical teams on the creation of theories of change, logframes, and evaluation frameworks
Strong analytical skills, data translation skills, and presentation skills
Strong competencies in the use of PowerPoint and Word
Competencies in the use of software solutions for sampling and qualitative and quantitative data analysis (R, Stata, MaxQDA, or ) are a plus
Very good command of written and spoken English. French or German language skills are an asset
