Reporting to the Country Managing Director this position is key in the development of our business, moving it further by successfully finding and implementing solutions with and for our customers.

You will achieve this by implementing global and local sales strategies, driving top and bottom line growth, and by exploring new business opportunities.


Responsibilities:

Execution.

  • Lead and motivate the Sales team to drive sales of new products, after sales services, and service agreements.
  • Build and maintain longterm relationships with customers at all levels, explore business opportunities, and grow market share and installed base.
  • Develop, implement, and follow up on sales strategies, sales plans, and sales support activities, including revenue and margin targets, a customer visit, training and resource plans, as well as customer communication and event plans.
  • Communicate, coordinate, and cooperate internally with Operations, Technical Service, Business Development, and Marketing Communications.
Business Development.

  • Share information from customer interaction to fuel business development projects.
  • Analyze market intelligence and initiate business development projects to drive business growth.
Monitoring.

  • Review, monitor and evaluate the performance of the Sales team.
  • Monitor customer feedback and define and implement solutions in close cooperation with other departments.
Your background

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Sales and a proven track record in Sales Management, including people management, in a comparable role, preferably in one of the industries we serve.
  • Mechanical Engineering degree, with education or experience in the marine field is a plus.
  • Selfdriven and a strong team player, with the ability to see opportunities and the courage to seize them.
  • Agile and resultoriented, with proven skills to take ownership of customer issues and to resolve them satisfactorily and sustainably.
  • Collaborative approach with strong communication skills in English and German.
