- You work on projects with data engineers and business intelligence consultants to provide clean, timely and reliable data sets for data analysts and business users.
- Based on the client's needs and business, you design, build and optimize accurate, scalable and maintainable data warehouses, data pipelines and data models.
- You define, implement and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines together with data engineers and business intelligence consultants and help us to streamline the collaboration between both areas of expertise.
- You bring software engineering principles to the data stack including version control, continuous integration, unit testing & documentation.
- You advise and work on modelling strategy and data tech stack implementation depending on the client's needs and ambitions across various industries (e.g. dbt, Snowflake, Big Query, Airbyte, Fivetran)
- As a member of the Data Product team, you will shape the team structure and artefacts, as well as drive the further development of our tool stack to be future proof.
- You have data engineering, business intelligence, analytics or other relevant working experience.
- Within the team and on specific client projects, we communicate in English and German, therefore oral and written communication in both languages should be easy for you.
- You are highly proficient in SQL. Python knowledge is a big plus.
- You already have experience with designing and building scalable, reliable, and reusable data models. Confident usage of Git and a first hands-on experience with dbt is required.
- You have first hands-on experience or interest in learning and leveraging emerging tools within the data ecosystem. Experience with tools, such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, Airbyte, dlt, Fivetran, Airflow is a plus.
- You are able to manage multiple concurrent engagements and enjoy working in a team. At the same time, you feel like proactively taking care of your own area of responsibility - whether it's consulting with clients, tinkering with a technical challenge, or further developing a service area.
