Your work scope:

Account assignment and posting of current business transactions (incoming/outgoing invoices, banks, cash registers, credit cards)
Account monitoring and processing of open item list Debtors / Vendors
Payment transactions, creating payment runs
Creation of the monthly VAT report
Support for special projects and adhoc analysis
Support in all general accounting matters for monthly, quarterly and annual accounts
Maintenance and further development of cost center accounting
Close cooperation with other departments and the finance department of the parent company
Responsible for travel expenses and the main contact

Your background:

Successfully completed training as a tax clerk, accountant or equivalent
Professional experience in the described area of responsibility is desirable; ideally with good knowledge of corporate controlling
Knowledge of GoB, accounting (HGB), as well as tax law, and experience in the area of preparing consolidated financial statements
Nice to have: knowledge at US GAAP / IFRS level, and ERP System Microsoft Dynamics
Responsible, independent, meticulous, and timely manner in working with pronounced numerical affinity
Good handling of DATEV, especially Excel and MS Office desirable
High degree of teamwork, flexibility, and initiative
