Your responsibilities and tasks:


The key management priorities for the role:

  • Conceptualize and design the end to end processes for P2P, O2C, R2R and T&E including risk controls and compliance considerations
  • Set up guiding principles for the Finance processes towards global standardization and optimization
  • Steer process standardization and optimization projects on a global scale to continuously improve quality, timeliness and efficiency of the Finance processes
  • Steer tool implementation projects to increase efficiencies/productivities of processes
  • Oversee the crossfunctional dependencies/interfaces into connected areas to ensure end to end view
  • Accompany global projects with appropriate change management measures
  • Serve as point of contact for different stakeholders (internal/external) for process relevant discussions
  • Lead and manage a team of employees
  • Govern the BPO provider into the right direction for the setup strategies/conceptions
  • Execute implementation of process changes for BPO provider operations team
  • Report to Executive Board of GEA as well as top management on a regular basis on the set up strategies and progress of projects

The tasks and responsibilities for the role include:

  • Lead Strategy team by providing best practices regarding end-to-end Finance processes and project/stakeholder management skills
  • Set up approach for global process standardization/optimization projects within GEA environment
  • Guide BPO Finance Operations team through new processes and guiding principles
  • Enforce defined efficiency, optimization & automation potential of globally integrated processes
  • Ensure staffing and talent development in the BPO Finance Strategy function
  • Communicate and guide crossfunctional stakeholders regarding process and risk control changes and the impact of it
  • Manage budget for global implementation projects
  • Manage BPO provider and external suppliers

Your profile and qualifications:

Have an academic degree in business administration or equivalent

  • Have at least 10 years of professional experience in Finance Transformation, including Strategy and Operations topics
  • Have multiyear experience in managerial positions
  • Demonstrates profound leadership skills (track record of leading people, organization(s) and transformation projects on global scale)
  • Demonstrates expert knowledge of Finance processes and organizational change
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Brings in strong strategic thinking and implementation success
