**Details of the Role: The Quantitative Strategist (Quant Strat) designs, develops and implements through direct coding (C++; Python etc.) quantitative strategic models, risk management and pricing solutions to meet business needs and drive strategy. They use their domain knowledge and strong technical coding expertise to contribute to the overall delivery of strategic initiatives within a business, function or a bank-wide program. They may lead a specific work package and independently develop and implement this as part of a wider program. The Quant Strat works under the leadership of either a Principal or Lead Quantitative Strategist, in partnership with the program sponsor, program team and wider stakeholders within the bank.**Your Key Responsibilities: - Within the deposit modeling team leading the initiative to enhance strategic data sourcing and related analytical tools (with initial focus on deposits)
- Execution of tasks related to model development and/or calibration and maintenance of IRRBB modelling across portfolios of Deutsche Bank
- Design and maintance of analytical tools to support GSA and GSA Clients to perform adhoc data analysis as well as ongoing model performance monitoring and backtesting
- Analytical support of GSA clients in the risk assessment and statistical analysis in general
- Regular contact with stakeholders across the divisions and various levels of seniority, including engagement with internal / external auditors and regulators
- Excelence in descriptive and explorative statistical techniques, skills plus experience with relevant statistical and other software packages (e.g. Python, R etc.)
- Proven track record of leading of large complex projects on data pipelines / handling of large data sets and strong IT/ data management background (SQL)
- Track record of independent delivery of endtoend project delivery spanning across various stakeholder groups wrt divisional and seniority spectra
- Strong analytical skills as well as strong ability to solve conceptual problems, combined with ability to work with both a high degree of independence and flexibility with respect to learning new skills or to work under time pressure if needed
- Very good written and verbal skills English (full professional proficiency), German is a welcome advantage
