This is a great opportunity for someone who can grow Fable Data's business model across Europe. You will join an experienced and high-profile team which is critical to the global success of Fable Data.

The team is focused on the creation of long-term value for partners by sourcing anonymised transaction data from banks, credit card issuers and Fintech companies globally.

We have an exciting opportunity for a driven and collaborative team player who is keen to join an ambitious team and wants to create pioneering partnerships within the world of retail banking data.

You'll be working in a fast-paced, ambitious environment, with the ability to learn from experts in technology, commercial strategy, and the investment market.

You will join a highly energetic team undaunted by the challenge of liberating data for decision making from hard-to-reach places.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivery of our European Data Partner Acquisition Strategy
• Research target geographies, demonstrating expert understanding of the finance sector and local economies, as well as Fable Data's client needs.
• Identification and lead generation of prospective data partners and new datasets
• Delivery of compelling presentations and commercial proposals
• Commercial negotiations
• Ongoing partner relationship management for partners based across Europe
• Team management: our people are our best asset, as a manager you will be responsible for developing and enabling new team members to fulfil their, and Fable Data's ambitions
• Help scale our team globally by supporting new process development, project management, software tools and recruitment activities

Essential skills and experience

• The role would suit an individual with a wealth of commercial negotiation and relationship management experience, in complex technical or regulated environments
• Confident navigating the endtoend partnership process with senior stakeholders at both complex and large banking institutions and Fintech startups
• Able to speak fluently about big data products and processing
• An entrepreneurial spirit is needed to identify opportunities and new potential datasets, combined with patience as the process can take a long time
• A firm grasp of the data partner commercials and economics
• Strong managerial skills, as you will be responsible for leading and developing your team
• Ability to build credible relationships with colleagues and partners
• Ability to manage shifting priorities within tight timeframes
• Fluent in English and in one additional language, French or German
• Must be comfortable and able to travel regularly to the UK and across the EU

Desired skills and experience

• Demonstrable interest in economics and data analytics
• Experience managing business relationships outside of the UK in France, Germany, Spain and/or Italy
