Working out of our offices located in Hamburg Germany, we are looking for our next Ocean Operator.

You will be responsible for making sure the movement of freight across Europe, or even across the globe, is coordinated and executed successfully according to our customers' needs.

Your work will support our rapidly growing Operations team and you will communicate thoroughly with other team members and Traffic Tech personnel.

Entails:

• Purchase of freight rates and booking of freight rates.
• Billing of transports and processing of incoming documents.
• Communication with the national and international Traffic Tech network.
• Partner and own offices around the globe.
• Delivery best in class customer service and solutions to our customers at all times.
• Interact with our customers in arranging their international shipments, proactively monitor

- shipment in-transit and keep customer appraised with regards to arrival times, delays or transit issues and help to ensure we meet or exceed customer expectations at all times.

• Ensure all communications is professional, timely and appropriately handled using the best medium, for both internal and external correspondence.
• Ensure all customers standard operating procedures are followed and updated in CW.

What

Looking
For:

• Must have 3+ years of previous work experience in the International export sector.
• Good written and spoken English knowledge.
• Successful Qualification / Education based on German apprenticeship model as

- "Speditionskaufmann/Speditionskauffrau"

• Understanding of international freight documentation process, a plus.
• Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results.
• Proactive, strong organizational skills.
• Good computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Cargo Wise).
