Dad and his
two year old daughter living in Berlin Prenzlauer Berg, seek a
German and English speaking Nanny (ideally intermediate to fluent in both languages) who can provide care in Berlin and also join them on travel to the US up to five times per year, for up to three weeks at a time.

The child attends KiTa, core care times in Berlin will be on three to four weekdays, plus a longer shift (approx 5h) on one weekend day per week.

The Nanny's duties will include general baby care. You will spend time with the children at home or outdoors, depending on the weather.

Care during travel will be as close to full time as the Nanny and child are comfortable with.

Considerable flexibility is required, as Dad's work can involve last minute changes and may not allow him to care for the child on days she cannot attend KiTa.

In order to make this flexibility sustainable, the Nanny will be compensated for 30 hours per week minimum, whether or not they are all needed or not.

Hours worked in excess of 30p/w will be compensated additionally. Exact conditions for travel will be negotiated.

Duties include providing a safe and nurturing environment for the child, being proactive in researching and organizing stimulating, age-appropriate activities, preparing healthy meals and providing a nurturing environment to further his development.

The family is looking to build a close, long term relationship with the Nanny. Regular nursery duties apply.

The home's atmosphere is calm and the family hope to find an experienced, long term carer to support them in maintaining their systems.

The family is playful, have an open communication style and like to spend time outdoors, at the same time they are firm with routines and respectful behaviour.

The family is happy to also contribute towards a travel card.

This is a long-term position from
30 hours per week.

To accommodate for this unique schedule compensation on offer starts at
3225 EUR gross per month for a contract Nanny depending on your experience and qualifications (negotiable, together with extra holiday allowance and other perks).
