Your Role
We are a small but mighty Legal team so this is an exciting ground floor opportunity.

As you will be working regularly with our functional teams, you'll get the chance to build out your commercial side while maintaining your transactional skillset.

Your responsibilities will include:
- advising the management and functional teams on legal issues which arise in an operational business of a globally active e-commerce company.
- being the point of contact for all questions of commercial law.
- taking ownership of the drafting, review, and negotiation of a wide range of commercial agreements.
- researching legal issues, assisting in drafting company policies, playbooks and guidelines and metrics to track success.
- actively shaping company-wide processes.

Your Profile

To succeed in this role you:

are a fully qualified German lawyer (1st and 2nd state exams) with outstanding grades or hold an U.S. JD degree with a strong academic record.

- ideally, have first relevant work experience as a Legal Counsel focused on commercial and contract law.
- have strong analytical skills that allow you to quickly understand and implement legal issues in a pragmatic and simple way.
- are able to handle ambiguity, anticipate and react to changes quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- are fluent in written and spoken German and English
