International Logistics Coordinator

How You'll Add Value
Responsible for all activities related to handling, storage, inventory control, and record keeping of received goods and materials.

Responsibilities also include inspection activities as well as the proper identification of itemsthr oughout all stages of inventory status, from quarantine to finished goods.


  • Receive and unpack goods and materials. Where applicable, assist with the unloading of vehicles.
  • Perform verification of received goods and materials to ensure correspondence between packing slips and purchase orders.
  • Perform a visual inspection of received goods and materials, noting any discrepancies including damage from transit.
  • Perform data entry of received goods and materials into the inventory management system.
  • Transfer and control of accepted incoming goods and materials into appropriate locations, including quarantine, until release.
  • Transfer and control of accepted and/or rejected goods and materials into appropriate locations, including finished goods and/or MRB, to prevent mixups between accepted and rejected items.
  • Ensure that all shipping/receiving/quarantine/finished goods areas are neat and orderly.
  • Prepare accepted goods and materials for shipment by placing them in appropriate protective packaging with the proper labeling, where applicable.
  • Prepare accurate packing documentation that lists the details of each shipment, including part description, serial number, quantity, etc.
  • Determine the method of shipment by examination of items to be shipped, destination, route, rate and time of shipment.
  • Maintain the necessary stock of shipping/receiving/inspection materials (e.g. corrugated boxes, bubble wrap, labels, storage bins, packing tape, etc.) by checking inventory levels; anticipating needed materials; placing, and where necessary expediting, orders for materials.
  • Monthly inventory counts and reconciliation with balance sheet accounts for OUS.
  • Communication, observation, and reconciliation of inventory at HL
  • Preparation of shipments (not supplied by HL) with appropriate documentation (ID Cards, Manuals)
  • Ordering accessories for US and OUS as well as documentation for OUS (ID Cards, Manuals)
  • Support the billing process by issuing Sales Orders in the ERP system (MS Dynamics), completing if chargeable, and forwarding them to Finance
  • Observing Salesforce for new orders to enter the sales order/backup for Sales Operations Coordinator
  • Preparation of inventory reports (e.g. for device forecasting)
  • Preparation of reports related to device expiry dates and communication with respective departments
  • Issuing export customs declarations by using ATLAS and communicating with customs authorities
  • Issuing a Certificate of Origin if required and communicating with the Chamber of Commerce
  • Checking and approving departmentrelated invoices

What You're Bringing with You

  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems.
  • Working knowledge of standards and regulations as outlined in the QMS documentation and structure.
  • Understanding that device defects may occur from the improper performance of specific job functions, including those personnel performing or participating in validations.
  • Each country has regulatory requirements which must be adhered to, which can impact individual roles within the company.
  • Understanding of individual role in achieving company quality objectives and QMS compliance.
  • Ability to perform complex and detailed quality control activities, including inspections.
  • Ability to accurately complete and maintain quality system documentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with varying priorities.
  • Ability to efficiently manage time to ensure the completion of essential functions.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
