The Scientific Computing (SC) Group of the Computer Science Department of Technical University of Darmstadt is looking for a

Research Assistant (all genders):

The position starts at April 1, 2024 and is initially limited to three years. The position is classified according to pay group 13 of the TU Darmstadt collective agreement (TV-TU Darmstadt).

In this position, you will perform research in parallel computing and program analysis, focusing on the development of tools for the analysis and instrumentation of parallel programs.

Your work contributes to you fulfilling the requirements for a doctoral degree.

In this position, you will also support the SC group with technical and scientific service and contribute to the teaching and student supervision.

We expect you to have completed a university degree in computer science of computational engineering and have experience with the development of compile
- and/or runtime tools based on the Clang/LLVM toolchain. You have very good programming skills in C++, as well as of methods for parallel computing. You can converse very well in English, and demonstrate reliability, creativity and excellent communication skills. You work in a cooperative, self-sufficient and goal-oriented fashion.
