Project Coordinator Medical Affairs (M/F/x):


The position:


The role will support the Medical Affairs department in all Global and European projects in the areas of Budgeting, Finance and Contracting

  • Support the Medical Affairs department in all departmental contractual and financial projects related tasks by tracking, reconciliating, reporting and processing in SAP, Jedox and respective corporate systems
  • Create the quarterly forecasts in the Daiichi Sankyo financial systems
  • Support of milestone and financial project planning
  • Generation of purchase requisitions
  • Create accruals, follow up of invoices and reconciliation with purchase orders
  • Maintain regular financial reporting and tracking including preparing reports for management and mapping in the system
  • Updating and coordination of budgets and reporting with DS Finance
  • Oversight and coordination of DS contracts with HCPs and other external partners and vendors
  • Check and improve processes of financial systems and set up new overviews and analytics for financial study projects
  • Substitute function for the Medical Affairs department Assistant and Clinical Operations Assistant
  • Liaising with legal and compliance to facilitate contracting and ensure compliant reporting projects

Personal skills and professional experience:


  • Business Management Education such as certified business expert (kaufmännischer Fachwirt), certified business economist (Betriebswirt), or equivalent
  • Experience of legal and compliance requirements of contracting with health care professionals and organizations in pharmaceutical industry
  • English business language education preferred (i. e. "Fremdsprachenkorrespondent") or equivalent
  • Experience of at least 6 years in business management functions in midsized companies, authorities or associations
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and accounting systems (SAP)
  • Good Business management/project management skills
  • Very good English skills (fluent spoken and written)
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills, teamplayer behavior
  • Good organizational and analytical skills
  • Independent and goal oriented working approach
  • Great attention to detail to catch errors
  • Capable to manage multiple tasks in parallel
  • Good time management skills
