What you will do
In this advertised position, your tasks will focus on operating the machine and carrying out experimental work in the laboratory:

Preparation and execution of tests on the LPBF machine (process monitoring, material qualification, preparation and adjustment of geometry data)
Evaluation and analysis of manufactured components
Data preparation and documentation
Assistance in everyday laboratory work

What you bring to the table

You are studying mechanical engineering, physics, materials science or a comparable course of study
You are characterized by a broad scientific and technical interest
You enjoy and are curious about practical work in the laboratory and have a conscientious way of working
Initial experience in the field of laser technology is an advantage, but not essential
Good knowledge of German and English

The weekly working hours are 10 h -15 h per week as agreed.
The position is initially limited to 6 months, after which it can be extended.
Remuneration is based on the general works agreement on the employment of auxiliary staff.
