Marketing Director, Hematology-Oncology

Description of the Position
We are looking for a Marketing Director in the exciting and innovative field of Hematology-Oncology.


As a Marketing Director, you will take a leading role in orchestrating a highly skilled and motivated individuals and develop a high-performing team, in delivering strong and direct impact on the company's growth.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the corporate strategy of Business Unit Hematology-Oncology with the Business Unit Director & Associate Sales Director & Medicine according to local market needs and resources
  • Strategic analysis of the market, competitive situation and product positioning to create a strategic market development plan in cooperation with BI&A
  • Coordinate and lead the marketing team by providing strategic direction in transitioning the brand plan and prioritizing initiatives to drive brand performance
  • Lead launch of new indications / new products by localizing launch strategy & defining roadmap
  • Create a local brand plan for the customer type by defining the customer strategy and priorities and building on this to create a tactical plan
  • Budget planning and responsibility according to business opportunities
  • Motivate and coach a highly motivated team to achieve business goals and individual development
  • Working closely and confidently with the crossfunctional internal team, global brand team, vendors, external stakeholders, patient advocates and thought leaders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with experience in brand and pharmaceutical marketing, MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of pharmaceutical industry marketing experience and a working knowledge of marketing principles
  • Experience in developing and managing successful strategic partnerships.
  • Track record of challenging the status quo and demonstrating passion for breakthrough ideas.
  • Excellent listening, presentation, writing, editing and communication skills. High level of comfort with a fastpaced environment that requires ability to multitask and quickly synthesize multiple sources of data.
  • Ability to advance ideas and plans in an ambiguous and consistently changing business environment
  • Proven track record of managing crossfunctional, matrixed teams.
  • Ability to lead and develop teams.
  • Strong organization skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
  • Budget management required.

  • Demonstrated success promoting pharmaceutical/medical products in challenging environments
  • Experienced in developing innovative digital and omnichannel strategies, implementing solutions and tactical executions
  • Highly energetic, able to successfully drive performance and deliver results with various parties in a timely and efficient manner
  • Flexible to changing priorities in a fastmoving environment
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex challenges and strategically plan to overcome obstacles and capitalize on opportunities in challenging situations
  • Demonstrated record of effectively working in crossfunctional team; strong teamwork skills and demonstrated strong communication capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to execute with agility
  • Demonstrated strong analytical, planning, project management and organizational skills.
  • Experience in developing, implementing, and monitoring brand plans, budgets and management of external agencies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with and present to senior management and executives across all company functions.
  • Experience tracking and managing budgets with finance counterparts.
