  • Our team Environment & CO2 is assigned to the business unit Homologation & Product Compliance. We analyze relevant environmental/CO2 aspects, establish detailed requirements in regard to our products, and point out options for actions as well as consequences. Based on these activities we work towards the development of more sustainable, environmentally compatible and efficient products made by MAN. Thereby we contribute to the competitiveness of MAN products and to the sustainability of MAN.
  • This research work is a cooperation project with the Technical University of Munich, which also includes employment as a research assistant.
Job Purpose/Role

  • Environment and trend analysis on circular economy in the commercial vehicle area
  • Concept design of a circular economy approach for research and development as well as planning of pilot projects
  • Assessment of the concept and execution with a suitable tool as well as evaluation of the results
  • Involvement in the chair operation (e. g. teaching, interdisciplinary research work)
Your qualifications

  • Excellent completed studies in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering resp. comparable courses
  • Profound knowledge and first practical experiences with logistics/supply chain management, circular economy and research/development processes
  • Pronounced motivation for scientific and autonomous work
  • Analytical and conceptional capacity
  • Ability to collaborate interdisciplinary and experience in project management
  • High communication and team skills as well as reliable presentation skills in German and English
