QC Specialist NGS - Bioinformatician (all genders)


The NGS QC Specialist will provide support to the Head of Dengue Quality Control and collaborate with the DS QC Specialist in tasks associated with Next-Generation Sequencing.


Your main responsibilities:


  • You will take charge of producing and evaluating all the necessary documentation essential for procuring and certifying the equipment needed for NGS, with a particular focus on the bioinformatics component.
  • Establishing the foundational bioinformatics infrastructure for NGS will be your main goal.
  • Your engagement in global NGSrelated meetings will bring up great input to the team.

Your profile:


  • You hold a master's degree in bioinformatics or a related discipline.
  • Your data visualization skills and experience with data retrieval from public sequence databases are distinguished.
  • You are experienced within a GMP environment and with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in budgeting and resource planning complement your profile.
In this position you will report to the Quality Control Vaccine Lead.
