THE ROLE & THE TEAM:

Zalando's Business Finance Organization (BFO) is looking for a highly motivated and qualified professional for the role of Head of Finance for Zalando Marketing Service and Strategy & Analysis Partner Service.

You will be part of the finance team that supports the leadership teams in ZMS and our Partner Service business model in steering our strategy and commercial performance.

WHAT WE'D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING):

You'll collaborate closely with ZMS & Partner Services Leadership and Strategy Teams in shaping & implementing the strategic and operational plan
Furthermore, you'll collaborate closely with various business leaders to analyse, challenge and influence their commercial decisions to identify opportunities and risks, and implement best practices to drive value and our longterm growth
You'll be in frequent interaction with our Finance leader from markets & propositions to further influence our profitable & sustainable growth
You'll convert aligned strategic objectives into concrete financial targets & ambitions and with this own the ZMS topline & profit forecast
You'll own and prepare regular performance reviews for our ZMS & partner services' leadership team, to steer the financial and commercial performance
You'll further strengthen automation in month end closing processes, internal controls, cash collection and stewardship
You'll contribute to partner's profitability and cash flows assessment and you will be the "Finance" voice to support commercial negotiations
You'll coach and grow the financial and analytical skills and insight in your team and across the broader Partner Services Finance team
You'll partner with the rest of the Business Finance Organisation (BFO) to shape reporting frameworks enhancements

WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF:

You have a Master's Degree in Finance (or a similar major) and come with more than 6 years of experience with a mix of Finance, Business partnership and commercial experience in a relevant industry
You come with a proactive, strategic, and entrepreneurial mindset with an ability to think broadly, refine questions, develop analytical frameworks and solve problems quickly
You pay attention to details and have the ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously, though never losing the big picture out of sight
You convince with your excellent communication skills, the ability to influence and make an impact in addition to getting into details and articulating findings to an executive level
You persuade with your advanced knowledge in MS Excel
Knowledge of SQL and/or Microstrategy are an asset
You have an excellent command of verbal and written communication skills in English
