The Mouser Electronics EMEA Finance Team is in search of an engaged and competent person at the earliest possible date for the position of

EMEA Accountant (f/m/d)

As a member of the EMEA Accounting Team you perform several accounting functions including preparation of journal entries, maintenance of general ledger, group reporting, AP and other daily processing functions.

Primary responsibilities:

Update and maintain the general ledger for our EMEA legal entities at a high standard
Prepare monthly/quarterly reporting to the headquarters in the US according to US-GAAP rules
Prepare account reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts
Prepare accounts and reports for statutory accounts
Support the preparation of different tax declarations and statutory reports
First point of contact for Mouser's local CPA's
Assist the Finance Manager on local statutory compliance obligations
Fulfill Mouser's policies and procedures as well as statutory rules

What we are looking for:

Degree in Business Administration (specialized in Finance / Accounting) or equivalent combination of education and general corporate accounting experience in EMEA.
Experience in international accounting practices (US-GAAP)
Good analytical and problemsolving skills
Experience in financial IT systems, preferably Oracle and MS Office
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German
