Duties:

Performs over-the-counter selling of a variety of merchandise which may include but is not limited to the following: jewelry,
footwear, clothing, photographic equipment sporting goods, electronics, novelty gifts, and other miscellaneous items. Explains use of
various products, answers questions concerning various aspects of products, and assists patrons in fitting wearing apparel. Records
sales, makes change, and wraps or bags merchandise. Prices merchandise according to pricing guides, replenishes stock as required,
and assists with inventories. Performs housekeeping duties in sales and storage areas. Signs up patrons for various golf programs to
include annual green fee sales, locker rentals, tournaments and other events. Assists in setting up and taking down merchandise
displays. Restocks shelves and keeps supervisor informed of low stock levels. Assists in inventories. Sells golf merchandise to
authorized patrons. Ensures that each sale is recorded properly using a Point of sales (POS) register system, ensuring customers
receive a proper sales receipt for each transaction. Assists customer in the selection of golfing equipment by answering their
questions and recommending selection of golf equipment suitable to their needs. Provides on course beverage and snack sales to
customers. Performs other related duties as assigned.

This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
Incumbent must be physically in Germany before a firM/Final job offer can be received.
This position requires shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations.

Qualifying Experience:

Must have responsible experience in clerical, office, cash handling or retail sales store work of any kind which demonstrates the
- ability to perform satisfactorily at the grade level of the position. Experience must demonstrate knowledge of prior cash handling
- procedures, the ability to resolve common arithmetic problems used when receiving payment from customers, and the ability to
- operate a cash register. Must be able to read, speak, and write English. Must possess skill in dealing with the public.

Education:

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution in order to qualify.

FOREIGN EDUCATION:
Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements.

You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S.

education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.

All Federal NAF employees are required by PL to have salary payments made by electronic funds transfer/direct deposit.
Probationary period may be required.

This is a Nonappropriated Fund (NAF) position carrying out Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) activities for the Air Force and Space Force.
This position will be eligible for the use of the fitness center, lodging, golf course, bowling center, library, and many other NAF activities.
