In order to support Aero-Acoustics, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a

Master's student within the field of Aero-Acoustics (d/f/m):

Duration: _6 Months _

Located about an hour's drive north of Munich, Manching is an up-and-coming market town that offers a wide range of leisure and cultural activities.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

Development of a framework for propeller and engine noise prediction.
Literature study on available models for propeller and engine noise prediction.
Implementation of noise prediction models for different noise sources (preferably in Python).
Integration of the framework in a noise mission planning tool.
Validation with simulation and measurement data.

Desired skills and qualifications:

Enrolled Fulltime Master's Student in Aerospace Engineering or similar.
Good skills in Python and Linux environments.
Knowledge of Basic Acoustics.
Ability to work in a multinational Team.
Fluent English is mandatory.
German would be an advantage.
