As the Head of Operations for our Lich European Distribution Centre you will actively lead; inspiring and motivating your talented team to drive and optimise performance; helping to connect our suppliers, fulfilment centres and customers.

What You'll Do

Develop robust, trusting relationships with key stakeholders and senior leadership, and identify opportunities to improve the Warehousing (FC) performance.
Command a strong senior presence and build a team of high performing Operations Managers.
Partner closely with a variety of groups companywide, including transportation, data integration, warehousing, inventory planning, engineering and others to coordinate cross functional projects.
Monitor and drive key service level metrics for fulfilment to ensure that we are providing excellent customer experience and delivering on our promise.
Contribute to the development of new tools, processes and technology which make our teams more efficient and effective.
Formulate and execute plans to continuously improve our operations and inventory availability.
Support operational strategy and innovation to drive business goals for revenue, operational performance, and profitability.
Manage, coach, and develop a team of Operations Managers to deliver on our customer promises and productivity targets whilst maintaining a safe environment for our teams.
Manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment with effective communication and thorough follow through.
Establish sound process improvement initiatives that drive year over year improvement, as well as streamline and optimise daytoday operations.
Regularly communicate performance trends and improvements to senior management and leadership.

What you will need

German and English language fluency (both written and spoken)
Demonstrable success whilst operating within a senior leadership function (operational, supply chain, logístical, ecommerce or management consultancy).
Experience of leading, managing and guiding operational teams to deliver improved productivity; formulating and executing plans to deliver inventory accuracy in a warehousing environment.
To be passionate about people. Someone who repeatedly develops teams and individuals through effective coaching and mentoring techniques; empowering and enabling our future leaders to flourish.
Selfmotivation, and inner drive to manage and prioritise projects whilst delegating tasks appropriately.
Confidence in business and data analytics, interpreting and building insights to develop, recommend and implement progressive solutions.
Effective communication skills, someone who quickly engages, inspires and builds trusting direct and cross functional partnerships.
A track record of taking on big challenges and delivering despite obstacles and limitations.
Solid IT skills (Microsoft Office or Google, Excel, Sheets). Any knowledge of SQL would be a plus.
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or be qualified by experience.
