HEAD OF

PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGY & AUTOMATION (F/M/D)
Responsibilities:
Leadership and development of a dedicated and motivated team consisting of 8 members in Eurasburg / Bavaria.
High degree of creative freedom in technological development, in particular by driving forward automation in production
Continuous further development of the overall Industrie 4.0 concept in close cooperation with the management team of Operations EMEA and worldwide
Initiation and management of automation or technical projects (in coordination with operators)
Supervision of the field "new technologies / production process innovations" including implementation of these technologies
Updating of investment roadmaps and capex planning, as well as investment controlling for Operations EMEA
Driving the standardization of machines, tools, other equipment and corresponding processes, especially with regard to process stability / contributing to the development of a production system (incl. optimization)

Qualifications:

Completed studies in mechanical engineering / automation technology / industrial engineering or comparable studies
Relevant experience in the production environment, especially in optimizing activities as well as successful strategy development and implementation regarding automation and technology development
Modern understanding of leadership and entrepreneurial thinking
Moderation and presentation skills as well as strong communication skills on different hierarchy levels
Innovative, crossfunctional thinking as well as analytical, structured approach, paired with implementation strength and goal orientation
Team spirit, team player as well as flexibility in acting
Fluent in written and spoken German and English
