About the Role:

Deos Staffing is currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading logistics company, for an experienced Ocean Freight Forwarder in Hamburg.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong background in freight forwarding who is fluent in German and looking for a new challenge in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage ocean freight shipments from end to end
• Communicate effectively with clients, carriers, and other stakeholders
• Prepare and verify shipping documentation
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations
• Continuously work to improve processes and increase efficiency
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues and team members

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in freight forwarding
• Fluent in German (both written and spoken)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detailoriented with a focus on accuracy
• Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in air freight (advantageous but not essential)
• Knowledge of CargoWise software (desirable but not essential)

Salary: 34,000.00€ - 55,000.00€ per year


Experience:

Ocean Freight Forwarding: 2 years (required)
Air Freight Forwarding: 1 year (preferred)
