The target customers comprise transport technology, automotive, and airport logistics, among others. The Tübingen plant coordinates Siemens manufacturing locations for geared motors worldwide.

Due to digitalisation solutions which can be checked on site, the plant was included in the list of "100 locations of Industry 4.0" of the Land Baden-Württemberg.

Your profile for "Make the Future Possible".

  • You should have successfully completed a technical or economic degree. Many years of professional experience in the manufacturing or logistics environment should be part of your profile.
  • You should be characterised by a broad understanding of leadership. In this role, you will lead various groups that include technology and process design, logistics handling, and operational implementation. You should have experience in optimising supply chain / logistics processes in a network of two locations.
  • You should already have wellfounded process experience in production and logistics processes (e.g., Lean processes, automation, E2E thinking) as well as experience with SAP (MM, SD).
  • You should impress us with your strategic skills, creative drive, and ability to create an innovative working environment.
  • You should work actively on the optimisation of inventories and logistics processes in order to strengthen the cash flow position of the plants and of the organisation.
  • You should also proactively drive topics forward and have a passion for efficiency and expertise in digitalisation and automation.
  • An agile and structured approach is required due to the complexity of the task; you should be able to get to the substance of the matter and develop specific actions.
  • You should have profound knowledge of written and spoken German and English and be willing to travel.
