Our Data & Analytics department within E.ON Digital Technology GmbH is looking preferably in Essen, Munich, Hanover or Berlin for a Senior Expert Data Architecture and Management (f/m/d).

Responsibilities

Develop and execute the organization's data architecture and data management strategy, roadmap and vision to meet current and future business needs
Provide technical mentorship to a team of data architects and data management experts
Design and implement scalable data models (common data models & business information models)
Collaborate and steer stakeholders (internal and external parties) to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Closely work with internal experts and provide the necessary support to formulate strategy and vision for respective topics like Data Modeling, Metadata Management, Master Data Management and Data Quality
Responsible for designing, development and rollout of Data Quality playbook/principalsand ensure the implementation of Data Quality happens with E.ON standards
Define and enforce data architecture and management policies
Promote data architecture and management tools, platforms, and technologies across the company
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of data integration processes, including data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and data transformation routines

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Longtime professional experience in data architecture, data management, or a similar role
Experience in modern data architecture designs which adopts to multicloud environment
Strong knowledge of data modeling techniques, data Integration, warehousing concepts, data catalog and data quality tools, master data management concepts
Proficiency in SQL, data querying, and data manipulation languages
Experience with data integration tools (e.g., ETL/ELT platforms), data visualization tools, and data governance frameworks
Familiarity with cloudbased data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, Unbundling law) and their implications on data management practices
Strong leadership abilities, with experience in leading and mentoring a team
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders
