Postdoc Position (TVL E13, 100%) (f/m/d)
mathematical modelling / optimization to assess the profitability of agricultural innovations. This is a
full-time position (100 %), initially for 2 years with the possibility of extension up to 5 years.

  • The vision pf PhenoRob is to transform crop production by optimizing breeding
and farm management through developing new technologies. The involved sci
- entists have backgrounds in computer science, geodesy, robotics, plant science,
soil science, economics, and environmental science.

tasks:


  • Analyzing the current profitability of a range of agricultural innovations, identi
- fying heterogeneity and its sources, assessing potential future trajectories.

  • Combining information on private profitability of the innovations with infor
- mation on public costs and benefits, to assess their difference and infer policy
recommendations


Your

profile:

Economics or an adjacent discipline. Important is expertise in mathematical
modelling and/or related skills as well as an understanding of agricultural and re
- source economics.***
