WORKING-OR MASTER THESIS STUDENT/TRAINEE (M/W/D) IN THE AREA OF R&D WITH FOCUS ON E-MOBILITY AND FUTURE TECHNOLOGIES FOR POWER ELECTRONICS SYSTEM DESIGN

We are looking for a student in the area of Research&Development (m/w/d) who is able to work flexibly and creatively and to think and act economically.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

You have the opportunity to support the research and development of power electronic systems from concept phase to design phase up to testing phase
For hardware development:
Circuit simulation with LT Spice
Dimensioning of hardware parts
Schematic and PCB Desing with Eagle / Altium Designer
Testing and evaluation of circuits (voltage, current, temperature, power, efficiency analysis)
For software development
Implementation of control strategies
Implementation of communication interfaces (SPI, CAN,)
Supporting test automation
For system development
System design of dedicated system features or subsystems o System modelling with MATLAB Simulink
System description with Enterprise Architect Desing and implementation of control strategies
YOUR PROFILE:
You are working towards a degree (B.Sc., M.Sc., PhD or similar) in Electrical

- and Information Technology, Technical Computer Science, Mechatronic System or comparable

You are eager to learn and enhance your already good knowledge about power electronic systems
You are able to develop technical solutions without major guidance
You already have first handson experience
You are motivated to take a deep dive into the tasks that await you
You are fluent in either English or German language
You can spend at least 5months with us
