Responsible for design and debug of FPGA logic for embedded vision systems. Design of FPGAs for new products and modifications of existing FPGAs to for new features or quality improvement. Work with small team with an emphasis on acquiring images.


Essential Functions:

  • Design and implement imaging control system using VHDL or System Verilog on Xilinx FPGAs.
  • Collaborate with software and electrical engineers to define requirements and debug problems
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to work in an international operating engineering environment

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Experience with RTL design, simulation, and synthesis in VHDL or System Verilog for FPGAs.
  • Experience with Xilinx FPGA architectures and Vivado tools preferred
  • Experience in electrical design or software design

Minimum education and work experience required:

  • Working towards Bachelor, Master or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field
