A Snapshot of Your Day

We are looking for an experienced Portfolio Consultant Professional (f/m/d) to join our order management team in Grid Technologies Production.

You will be managing and leading the prequalification projects of all customers worldwide.

Your main target is to evaluate, structure and execute the approval processes of the different customers to end successfully prequalifying the manufacturing location Berlin and the products requested by the customers.

Your day begins with different tasks and challenges coming from the customers, regional or global sales forces.

You will be involved at an early phase to introduce the current / new products to our customers for the first time, during the offer / tender phase you will complete the prequalification and homologation process defined by the customer.

Lastly, at the order phase you will be responsible for the clarifications with our customers.

You will be the trusted partner to the internal functions Product Life management (PLM), R&D, Offer Management and Sales and will support all of them to define the required tasks and handle all communication towards the customer.

How You'll Make an Impact

Define and clarify in detail all prequalification requirements technically and commercially and set the road map for the implementation
Take the lead of the whole customer qualification procedure and make necessary coordination with other functions involved like Sales, PLM, R&D and QM to provide technically accurate and commercially compliant submittal of documents as per customer requirements
Homologate customer protocols (e.g. FAT), follow up the technical clarifications and respond to the customer on time until reaching final approval
Coordination between different global factories involved in the prequalification process
Report any costs related such as customer special tests or customer factory visits and arrange as per internal process the approval of the costs
Stakeholder Management, effective communication (written & verbal), able to provide clear direction
Arrange and make presentations as per need for the customers and arrange the involvement of the required experts

What You Bring

University Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar professional education combined with extensive, relevant experience
Extensive professional experience within Sales and Project Management
Solid technical understanding of the Switchgear Portfolio (Gas insulated, Air Insulated and SF6free technology)
Understanding of customer business drivers and process requirements
Excellent communication skills in English, German and other language skills are an advantage
Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and influence other teams to collaborate, problems solving abilities, selfmotivation and result orientation
Cultural awareness and experience in working with individuals from different cultures and backgrounds
Willingness to travel (20 %)
