Are you up to a new challenge? We are looking for you as a
Project leader - Employee Collaboration/ Digital workplace (d/f/m) based in Hamburg to help us design and implement the future collaboration solution which will be part of the Airbus future workplace.

The goal of our multi-national department "Digital Workplace" (DW) is to make a significant and positive impact on the way Airbus employees work, collaborate and share information as well as providing a foundational step for the digital transformation of Airbus.

This is achieved through the deployment and support of new tools and technologies enabling better cross functional collaboration, improved productivity, greater company integration, and improved transparency and more open and horizontal information exchange.

A critical element required to achieve success for DW is a clearly defined strategy supported by effective transformation plan and operational controls.

Your location
You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Your tasks and responsibilities

You will be responsible for managing one or several projects/ work packages including the framing (scope, stakeholders, etc.), decide on the functional and technical solutions to be applied and manage the respective roadmaps/ schedules.
You will lead the design of the solution together with architects.
You will execute/ deliver according to the plan (on time, on quality) and you will also be responsible for the budget management.
You will setup project ceremonies and an overall governance and you will lead regular steering committees.
You will deliver regular reports of the project progress status.
You will prepare the operation and end user support of the solution which will be delivered in production.
You will measure and improve the user satisfaction & performance.

Desired skills and qualifications

You hold a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering or a comparable field and bring experience in project management and/or coordination as well as in team/ people lead.
You bring experience in IT and in using Google Workspace. Ideally, you already deployed and implemented cloud/ SaaS based solutions.
You are capable of managing partners & subcontractors and bring experience in stakeholder management.
You bring the ability to synthesise, structure and vulgarise highly technical topics with a sense of detail and passion.
You are comfortable with the budget management of related projects. Ideally, you have some knowledge of ITIL and the AGILE methodology.
You have good communication skills and the capacity to drive change
You are fluent in English and German. French is a plus.
You have a collaborative and innovative mindset and like to work in a multifunctional environment. You bring a good sense of curiosity and desire to learn.

Business Travels

This role will involve some travels for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly throughout Europe.

Current estimation is once every quarter.
