What we're looking for...

The Role

Scope and Responsibilities for the proposed onsite tech based at the Gelsenkirchen Refinery

Location :
Pawiker Str. 30, 45896 Gelsenkirchen, Germany

Note:
The Gelsenkirchen Campus consists of two sites - Scholven and The other site is Horst.

Working hours:
Normal site working hours (08:00 am to 17:00 pm local time)

Language skills required:
English / German
Provide first-level support and assist with troubleshooting incidents on the Siemens HiPath platform equipment with support of Client team.

  • Ability to reset / restart the Siemens HiPath platform equipment both independently and / or with remote support from Client team.
  • Ability to work on patch panels and other cabling infrastructure.
  • Relocation / replacement of handsets / headsets / other endpoints.
  • Provide analysis of system logs and alarms.
  • Provide system administration activities i.e. software reconfiguration / endpoint reconfiguration.
  • Provide onsite and remote MAC requests.
  • Provide assistance with project requests
This position will require to be more hands-on technical activities like connecting voice gateway devices into the customer's LAN and staging user's end-point telephone devices

Contract length: 6 months


Salary:
From 175.00€ per day

  • Gelsenkirchen: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

  • Networking: 3 years (required)
Siemens Hipath: 4 years (required)

  • Cabling infrastructure: 4 years (required)
  • Software reconfiguration: 4 years (required)
