Field Service Technician

Field Service Technician - Hungary

Do you feel at home in technology and want to work closely with our well-known customers? As a service technician (gn) in the field of thermal coatings at Oerlikon, you will work in one of the most important departments and keep our company running.

Your Tasks

Installation, commissioning, modifications, maintenance and repair of Oerlikon Metco systems and core components at customer sites
Telephone support for our customers and colleagues (gn)
Carrying out training and instruction for customers in the operation and maintenance of the coating systems
Diagnosis and elimination of technical problems on the coating systems
Documentation of service calls and preparation of service reports
Preparation of technical documents for internal, departmental and customer use
Area of field service intervention: mainly in Hungary at our Hungarian customers and Europe

Your Profile

Completed technical training in the field of electrical engineering, mechatronics, automation or a comparable discipline
Proof of qualification as an electrician
Experience in plant engineering, control, regulation and computer technology, knowledge of robotics and pneumatics is an advantage
Good Knowledge of MS Office
Enthusiasm for challenges that require a broad technical background as well as ingenuity and flexibility
Good communication skills in English
Willingness to travel (up to 80%)
Strong problemsolving skills and ability to work independently
Good communication skills and team spirit
