Your Role and your Team:


Reporting to the Ho Supply Chain Quality Production Organization, while managing the daily business tasks and deliverables of your operational SCQM's / Incoming Inspection team, you will implement the supplier quality framework of Lilium's Production Organizations, managing supplier selection, assessments, qualifications, audit programs, part product conformity control during warehouse incoming and the overall fulfillment of Lilium's Supplier Quality Requirements, in line with company requirements and certifications (EASA Part 21.G, FAA 14CFR Part 21.G, EN9100).


Your Day to Day:


  • Define, implement, and manage the Lilium strategy against the quality requirements for supplier selection, qualification and maintenance based on aerospace industry standards, regulations, and company requirements, e.g., EASA Part 21G, APQP, FAI, PPAP etc.
  • Prioritize and manage the daily operational duties of a team of Supply Chain Quality Managers and/or Incoming Inspectors.
  • Support and mentor team members in topics concerning product quality requirements, industry standards, regulations, problem solving, and supplier development.
  • Prepare and maintain supplier audit programs and conduct supplier audits.
  • Oversee and support the execution of APQP and approve supplier FAIs and PPAPs before shipment.
  • Review and approve Incoming Inspection plans and prioritize the daily duties of Incoming Inspectors carrying out inspections.
  • Manage root cause analysis and corrective action plans against nonconformances raised during the supplier audits or during Incoming Inspection, assembly, or test.
  • Ensure close cooperation between your Team and the Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain Operations, Quality Operations and Quality Inspection Management Teams.
  • Define, monitor, and control supplier quality and cost of nonquality metrics, including them within periodic reviews with your responsible team members.
  • Analyze supplier quality data, define improvements, and perform periodic reviews to ensure effectiveness of improvements.
  • Interface with Authority Representatives when required.

Your Profile:


  • Technical or Engineering Degree in Aerospace or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the implementation or management of Supplier Quality Management Systems, preferably with a minimum of 3 years in Aerospace.
  • Auditor accreditation or experience auditing in a EN9100 or ISO9001 environment.
  • Adequate degree of technical understanding in one or more technologies, such as composites, aerostructure, batteries, electronics and/or electromechanical assemblies.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and inspection processes in aerospace
  • Minimum 1 year of experience leading a team in an aerospace and/or highly regulated industry.
  • Must be proactive, good communicator, and able to gain credibility across all levels of the organization.
  • Humble, factdriven, resilient, and personally committed to achieving success.
  • Able to work well in teams, take the lead when necessary, as well as work autonomously.
  • Strong motivation to help build and shape your organization, structures, and processes.
  • Willingness to travel on demand within EU as well as worldwide for supplier visit, assessment, and audits.
  • Targetoriented, driven work style with analytic problemsolving mindset required.
  • Fluent English language skills are essential, fluent German or any other language would be beneficial.
