In this position you will be part of the research and development team of Advantest's Premium SOC Test Solution - the V93000 IC Test platform.

You will work in a cross-functional team consisting of Hardware
- and Software-R&D, product marketing, solution architects and customer support.

As a lab technician you're the responsible lab owner of our electronics lab in Duisburg:


  • Build and development of prototypes for future test systems
  • Assemble and maintain 93k test systems and development systems
  • Setup and maintain lab workplaces according to tasks
  • Coordinate the setup and maintenance of the lab infrastructure
  • On demand CAD drawings, manufacturing of mechanical prototypes (3D printer)
  • Analysis, troubleshooting and repair of prototypes and measurement equipment
  • Soldering and mechanical tasks as well as measurement runs

Requirements:


  • Certified technician in electronics and mechanics
  • 3+ years of professional experience as technician in R&D labs
  • Very good knowledge in use of measuring and soldering equipment
  • Good understanding of Electrical & Mechanical Engineering basics
  • A solid knowledge in scripting languages as python is beneficial
  • Selfinitiated, wellstructured approach
  • Team player with strong communication skills
  • Professional English in writing and speaking
  • Understanding German is a plus
