The I
ntern/work student Data Science, Predictive Maintenance for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for working on predictive maintenance projects. This position is part of the Software team located in Munich and will be on-site. If you thrive in a multi-functional role and Internship, read on.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Lay the foundation for predictive maintenance projects in our team
Develop and test specific theories based on data
Realize your own ideas on our existing infrastructure
Data collection from real hardware components. e.g. robots, centrifuges, etc
Get a real insight into the workflow of a modern machine learning team
Write concept and design documents

The essential requirements of the job include:

Currently enrolled as a full-time student in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
Solid basics in programming
You have initial experience with machine learning and are interested to learn it further
Knowledge of handling SQL databases
Experience with data analysis tools
Solid basic knowledge of statistics
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Very good written and spoken English. German language is an advantage

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

C#, Python and Visual Studio
Experience with statistical models such as Remaining Useful Life
Independent and proactive way of working
