Org Marketing Statement
ISDE has 3 Business Units all over Europe. The Business Unit Industrial Valves has employees in 2 German locations - Oberndorf and Kaarst - with appr. 240 employees and sales of $ 90 m.

Oberndorf am Neckar (located close to the Black Forest) is the manufacturing location of the Business Unit with appr. 200 employees.


Position Summary

  • Initiation of procurement processes
  • Obtain information on prices, suppliers, technical innovations
  • Coordinate parts and material requirements with the respective departments
  • Monitoring delivery dates and making complaints
  • Conduct negotiations on prices, delivery dates and conditions, etc.
  • Preparing contracts
  • Performing price comparisons and value analyses

Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training (e.g. as a mechanic or industrial mechanic) as well as completed specialized training as a business administrator, technician or master craftsman
  • At least 5 years of professional experience
  • Hands on mentality
  • High degree of responsibility and commitment
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English
