Sales Traineeship - DACH market (M/F/d)

Management Events offers business leaders from Fortune 500 companies the opportunity to join our exclusive business network, where they can establish business connections, get insights about the newest business trends from our keynote speakers, and visit our world-class events.

In our unique concept of virtual 1-2-1 meetings, they also meet innovative software or consulting companies that can help them with their upcoming projects.


Five stages of this traineeship:


1. Sales support

  • Prospecting: research potential clients through online research and our CRM system
  • Conducting market research and analyzing sales data to identify potential areas for growth
  • Maintaining accurate and uptodate customer and sales records in a CRM system
  • Assisting sales managers with customer outreach and followup

2. Senior sales support

  • Starting own outbound activities such as customer outreach and meeting booking
  • Shadowing experienced sales representatives and learning from their sales techniques and approaches
  • Developing and delivering sales presentations to potential customers
  • Attending sales meetings and participating in sales strategy discussions
  • Creating quotes for customers

3. Sales Manager Onboarding

  • You will join our 4 week international onboarding for the sales manager role

4. Junior Sales Manager

  • You will be responsible for the whole sales cycle from A-Z, from prospecting to closing the deals
  • Your quarterly targets will depend on your own progress

5. Sales Manager

  • You will be responsible for the whole sales cycle from A-Z, from prospecting to closing the deals
  • You will work with quarterly targets of a sales manager

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, hospitality, or a related field
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Eagerness to learn and grow into a sales role
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
  • German on a native level and English fluently

I (Maria Botha) will schedule a phone call with you to discuss more about the role, the compensation model and answer any possible questions you might have.

In addition to this, I would like to know who you are, what your experience has been, and what motivates you.

The call will be in German.


Interview at our office**:
you will meet the hiring manager. There you can learn how the job will be like in specific. The conversation will be in English.


Interview at our office:

you will have your final interview with a team manager, you will be asked to do a role play that you can prepare beforehand.
