  • freight forwarding;

RESPONSABILITIES:


As _Logistics Coordinator_, you are able to handle autonomously daily operations such as Courier shipments, Road transports, Ocean Freight and Air Freights.

A minimum of 2 years experience in the branch Transport and Logistics in the role of Logistics Coordinator is required.

As advantage you have specific experience on Airfreight and Ocean Freigth export. Preferred in a small / medium company with flexible task.

You work in close contact with the Logistics team to ensure smooth coordination of the transports.


Key task and Skill:


  • Make sure cargo moved within time and cost agreed with client
  • Maintaining good customer relationships
  • Manage relationship with third party logistics providers
  • Looking for alternative and more cost effective ways for shipping our cargo
  • Available during the weekend to follow up critical shipments with carriers and clients (exceptional cases)
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office package

Languages:


English:
Complete knowledge in speaking and writing is a must

German:
Good knowledge in speaking and writing (as plus)

Italian:
Good knowledge in speaking and writing (as plus)

You will have the autonomy to look into the market for new transport options increasing our, already plentiful, transport network.


You'll have direct communication with client (Cruise Line logistics department) giving the opportunity to shine in this world plenty of opportunity.


We are a team and as such needs to spend time together, however we offer the possibility of 1 day Home office per week.

As we are a small growing office, possibility for a brilliant internal carrier is just on your hands.


REMUNERATION:
based on profile and experience

To reside in Hamburg area is an advantage
