The Hertie School in Berlin prepares exceptional students for leadership positions in government, business, and civil society.

The school offers master's programmes, executive education and doctoral programmes, distinguished by interdisciplinary and practice-oriented teaching, as well as outstanding research.

Its extensive international network positions it as an ambassador of good governance, characterised by public debate and engagement. The school was founded in 2003 by the Hertie Foundation, which remains its major funder. The Hertie School is accredited by the state and the German Science Council.

We are looking for a

Student Assistant Admissions (gn)
part-time (15 to 20 hours/week). The contract shall commence as of 01 October 2023 and is for up to two years.

The Student Recruitment, Admissions and Funding team is concerned with finding the best minds for the Hertie School's graduate progammes.

The team manages prospective students' recruitment, selection and admission for the Master of International Affairs, Master of Public Policy, Master of Data Science for Public Policy, and Executive Master of Public Administration programmes.

Your tasks:

General support of the admission team.

Your profile:

Enrolled student at a German university
Excellent English Skills: Proficient in both written and verbal communication.
Proficiency in working with standard office tools such as MS Outlook and Excel.
Willingness to learn new skills, technologies, and processes.
