Job Summary
The role will be responsible for supervising datacentre Engineers and the datacentre itself. Assistance with testing and coordinating projects and maintenance will also be part of this role.

Responsibilities
Management

Supervises Data Center Engineers to ensure that the duties they are undertaking are carried out in a timely manner and projects are progressing as expected
Manages personnel details to include salaries, positioning, hire/fire, reviews, coaching and development

Site Capacity Management

Overall site capacity supervision

Project/Infrastructure Management

Plans, coordinates, budgets, and implements resources to complete projects and maintenance within the data center
Provides input and guidance towards budget

Vendor Management

Oversees contractor work and operations to ensure completion to Equinix's required standards

Testing

Assists with start up tests, documenting and reporting all problems

Incident Management

Communicates and coordinates activities and onsite staff during an incident

People Management, leading a Team up to 10 employees

Qualifications

Typically has 23 years of people management experience and is fully proficient with each of the responsibilities indicated
German Native Speaker, Minimum B2.2, Englisch B2.2
