HARD ROCK CAFE Hamburg:

Since 2011, the Hard Rock Cafe at the Hamburg Landungsbrücken has been combining an authentic Rock'n'Roll experience with international flair, selected live music and a unique American culinary experience.

The Job:

With a job in our service team you are responsible for the direct welfare and impression of our guests.

With us you are hired as an all-rounder and you can learn a lot Your main tasks will be the following:

Making prep recipes and menu products to spec
Properly labeling, dating, covering and refrigerating prepped items for the line
Performing opening, closing & side duties setting up, stocking, and breaking down all

kitchen equipment and prep, line, expo stations

Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, line, expo, dish room and back dock
Cleaning dishes and operating a dish machine
Practicing safety and sanitation standards
Having a sense of urgency
Stocking products
Recycling products
Properly reading items printed on order tickets or automated Kitchen Display System
Assembling orders double checking product quality and specs
Demonstrating impeccable product knowledge
Involved in handling all recook, special prep, long ticket, large party/voucher group

procedures

Running food as needed
Communicating professionally with coworkers and FrontoftheHouse staff
Acting as a liaison between the HeartoftheHouse and FrontoftheHouse staff

Job Requirements include:

Must be at least 19 years old
Performing duties which require bending & reaching
Lifting & transporting up to 100pound containers, dish racks, and trashcans
Standing or moving, for up to 8+ hours
Maintaining a wellgroomed appearance ("having a plan")
Following all uniform guidelines
Practicing all general safety & sanitation standards
Recycling products

, where possible

Remaining calm in a hectic, fastpaced atmosphere
Demonstrating a high level of organization, attentiontodetail and a senseofurgency
Displaying a positive and outwardly friendly attitude toward guests and coworkers
Be registered in Hamburg and have a working permit
Speak basic English (other languages are an advantage)
Be eager to learn
Be ready to work in fast, in quickly changing environment
Have a good sense of hygiene and cleanliness
Be focused and able to follow the procedures
Team spirit
