Your impact:

As the Head of Capability Construction at Jacobs, you will be responsible for strategic and operative resource planning to assure availability of the right capabilities to deliver actual and future projects for all markets and sectors.

You will work in close coordination with the Client Delivery Directors of the market sectors for excellent project delivery and highest client satisfaction.

You are expected to lead the team within Jacobs leadership philosophy and values, develop people and skills and feel responsible for each individuum as well as for the whole team.

As Head of Capability, you are part of the Management Team and actively steer the company strategically and operatively. We expect from you to be a Jacobs culture ambassador internal and externally.

Being accountable for people leadership and billability, in this role you will contribute fundamentally to the success of Jacobs in Germany and beyond.

Part of your responsibility is also to connect with your international colleagues to contribute on One Jacobs approach towards clients and market.

In this role we also expect, that you know market trends and you're driving innovations and team and service "top of class"

Here's What You'll Need:

To succeed in this role, you will have previous substantiated experience in the building construction and/or civil engineering area as well as long term leadership experience.

Previous background in one of our focus areas, Energy Transmission Industry, Advanced Manufacturing or Life Science would elevate your profile.

A military background will be a plus. You are a committed, open-minded person who sees opportunities where others may see challenges. You understand the value of people and leadership as fundamental delivering for performance and client satisfaction. You love working on world class projects and always seeks for improving and innovative solutions.

Demonstrating exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both German and English, you are a curious person who wants to share their experiences as well as learn from their colleagues.
