As a member of the Global Government Affairs team, this position, reporting to the Director of Global Government Affairs, will interface with GF's Leadership to help shape public policy in support of GF's strategic objectives in Germany and Europe

Location:
Berlin

Responsibilities:

Key areas of focus will include:

Develop and manage strategic relationships and initiatives
Work with local and state authorities as well as national institutions in Germany, France, Bulgaria and at the EU level
Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure strategic programs are demand driven
Develop presentations and speak/present in public forums on behalf of GF
Ensure all activities reflect the highest degree of integrity and align with company vision and goals at all times.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Masters or Law Degree and 5+ years' experience working at or with government authorities

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Handson experience in government policy making processes in the relevant EU Member States and at EU level
Technology background with capability to digest and explain complex science and technology issues
Good communicator able to interact effectively with all levels of government, management or global teams and backgrounds.
Strong organizational and teaming skills
Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, and compelling manner
Fluent in English and German (speaking and writing), good in French
