Compliance:


As a compliance officer you must ensure the proper establishment and operation of the compliance management system (CMS) as part of the Governance, Risk and Compliance Department.


Specifically, you have to provide the following services:
- will ensure a functioning compliance organisation
- will regularly review and update the compliance policy
- will ensure that all compliance-relevant corporate guidelines and the Code of Conduct are up to date
- will prepare the annual compliance report as well as event-related reports
- will regularly implement the compliance risk analysis and the control actions derived from it in accordance with the control plan
- will carry out own monitoring activities on an ad hoc and random basis
- will work in close coordination with the Money Laundering Officers, the Data Protection Officers and the Internal Auditing Department and will report to the management
- will do an ongoing review of legal and regulatory innovations, changes and further developments as well as their assessment of relevance for the business operations of the FWU Payment GmbH and the FWU Factoring GmbH
- will support and advise the management and the Head of Governance, Risk and Compliance with regard to compliance with the legal regulations and requirements relevant to the FWU Payment GmbH & FWU Factoring GmbH
- will be the contact person for all employees of the FWU Payment GmbH & FWU Factoring GmbH with regard to compliance-relevant issues
- will be responsible for regular or ad hoc training of employees on compliance issues relevant to their respective activities and ensure that new employees are promptly informed about all compliance issues relevant to the FWU Payment GmbH & FWU Factoring GmbH
- will be contact point for suspicious cases (Whistleblower system)
- will communicate with the supervisory authorities and clarify and coordinate responses to questions from the supervisory authorities


Anti money laundering:

As an Anti Money Laundering (AML) officer you have to provide the following services:

  • will regularly report to the Management of the FWU Payment GmbH & FWU Factoring GmbH
- will prepare risk analysis and annual reports
- will be responsible for the implementation of general and specific security measures
- will prepare and update AML guidelines for FWU Payment GmbH & FWU Factoring GmbH and related work instructions and be responsible for training and sensitisation of staff
- will monitor compliance with legal provisions, AML guidelines and internal policies for the prevention of money laundering, terrorist financing and other criminal acts and be responsible for the monitoring of suspicious business relationships and the evaluation and documentation of suspicious cases
- will be responsible for the submission of suspicious activity reports
- will be contact person for employees, supervisory authorities and law enforcement agencies

IF
YOU HAVE
- a University degree in business or law or commercial training in banking or finance
- experience in a comparable position in a financial services company with an international orientation
- knowledge in the area of finance and compliance, anti-money-laundering and terrorist financing
- good MS Office skills
- the qualifications to meet the requirements to be appointed as an AML officer of a regulated entity
- good interpersonal skills and a differentiated ability to express yourself (written and spoken)
- very good analytical skills and a independent, results-oriented way of working
- excellent command of German and English (written and spoken); other languages would be an advantage
